Breathe In, Breath Out

Not sure where you may be from, dear Reader, but here in Canada we have a little thing we call the CBC. Among the many tabs and sections available on their website is one of my favourites: CBC Books.

Not too long ago they announced their annual non-fiction contest and the prize is $6,000 but more importantly, a foot in the door. I read some samples from last year and decided to dust off an old piece I wrote about an event that happened to me a decade ago.

It’s a work in progress but it feels like it could be in good shape by the deadline. so fingers crossed, my friends.

In addition, I’ve been finally reading again. My Goodreads challenge is going well. And well, just in general I’ve been consuming all types of media. Movies. TV. Music. Video games. Comic books. You name it, I’m doing stuff.
